In Switzerland, if you want to save money, you buy basics either at H&M, Zara, or C&A. What do you get in return? Occasionally, a fair deal, but mostly, clothes that get cheaper and worse year after year to cover the profit margin of the huge company.
On the other hand, if you want good quality, you can shop at Mango or Massimo Dutti, but there you pay luxury prices.

Andreea is responsible for our marketing strategy and social media presence. With her creative eye and instinct for trends, she ensures that Gradualbasics not only offers high-quality products but also presents them in an authentic way.

Modeling & Storage
Marco is our multitalented talent: He not only models our products, but also manages logistics in the warehouse. With his eye for detail, he ensures that every garment that leaves our warehouse meets Gradualbasics' high quality standards.

Chief Feline Officer
Our strictest quality control inspector and financial expert. He specializes in power naps, cardboard box inspections, and monitoring all lunch breaks. Tiger ensures we never get too serious and reminds us daily that perfection takes time. Preferably 16 hours of sleep a day.
Our story
The idea for Gradualbasics was born on a typically cold Zurich winter day. When the Böögg (mountain) once again wasn't burning properly at Sechseläuten, heralding a long winter, it became clear to me: We Zurich residents need better hoodies!

At Gradualbasics, we believe that basics don't have to be basic. Our mission is to create high-quality garments that last for years, not just one season.
